Enjoy episode 10 of Storytime in the Woods from Little Round Schoohouse. Miss Becca walks into the woods each week, sits down, and tells us a story. These are simple episodes with gentle, nature-based stories for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade kids.

Story: Little, Small, Wee, Tiny Man

This is an old English Nursery Tale by Diana Ross. In this story, a Little Small Wee Tiny Man is sad that he lives alone. Several folks in the community stop by to check on him and see if they can move in. Most are much too big for the Tiny Man’s home, but he eventually finds the perfect companion–an ant! I love this story; most children find it endearing and silly. It also teaches a valuable lesson about the smallest creatures.
